Oil paint on canvas. This one's going to take months and months to dry, the paint's so thick. Kept re-painting to try to get it right. Happy with it at last. The view is of Castlerigg stone circle in the English Lakes, looking towards Borrowdale.

I really like the colours and the texture of this. It is unusual, and it gives the painting a really great atmosphere

Thank you. I mostly built it up by using my fingers to add layers of paint, and then textured it using the pointed end of a paintbrush.

Underpainted in acrylics, but everything you can see was done with normal old-fashioned oil paints with no additional thinners or mediums.
